I saw SheridanCat's comment on Talk:Hollywood, and it reminded me that someone on 2+2 said this poker room had closed. I'll link the thread as substantiation if I get a chance. - PhilipR

I can confirm that this is true. It was being talked about when I was at Resorts in East Chicago about 6 weeks ago. I forgot to update the wiki. Some of the players in my game had been Empress regulars. SheridanCat 20:23, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

OK, thanks. So what should we do with this article? Is there any value to keeping it here, say, in case they reopen? I try to maintain an article for Mohegan Sun, but that's because they're always rumored to be reopening. I'll defer to your judgment on whether there's value to keeping some of this info up or whether it's just confusing. - PhilipR 23:28, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

I would suggest we basically gut the page. Since history is retained, we can zip it back up if they should decide to re-open. My guess is that they won't though. SheridanCat 03:34, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
