NLHE:Preflop:Small pair
From PokerWiki
Small pairs play well in NLHE, provided that you and your opponent[s] have ample stacks. The idea is to flop a third card for a set and get a good hand like top pair or an overpair to pay off. Because this is only an 8.5:1 shot, you need good effective odds hence the importance of stack sizes.
