Lars Bønding is a Danish professional poker player. He was born and raised in Skanderborg, born 14th February 1980.
He started at an early age to play backgammon in Aarhus, and when he was 18 years old, won his first backgammon trophy. He has won almost everything there is to win, and in 2003 he became a Net Backgammon Player in Denmark.
Lars Bønding took up poker and is now one of the top playrs in Denmark after becoming friends with some of Denmark's very best poker playrs, which rapidly showed that Lars Bønding had flair for poker play.
Lars has an aggressive style f play that has done well for him, including at the $1500 WPT Five Diamond in 2005 and at the $2500 NL Bogota Poker Open in 2006. In 2005, Lars Bønding was very close to the hive 3 WSOP in Danmark, WSOP bracelet home to Denmark in 2005 when he got a second place in the WSOP $ 2,500 NL.
He started playing tournament poker with Sit N Goes, then moved to cash games. You can often find him playing Texas Hold Em $25/$50 No Limit.
