The "What the Hell" Factor is a term used by one wiki author to describe a situation where an short-stacked opponent throws in her last money in because she's had a bad session and just wants to gamble out her stack. The implication is that this player's reraising range may be far broader than a typical deep-stacked opponent's. A corollary is that reraises from a short-stack that are less than all-in often indicate a desire for callers, hence a strong hand.
